On the evening of Wednesday the 9th of January 2019, there were two road traffic collisions on the B4555 between Bridgnorth and Highley.  Both vehicles, a Renault Clio and a Vauxhall Vectra, suffered considerable damage. Thankfully no one in the vehicles was seriously injured.

Police, Fire and Ambulance crews all attended and dealt with the two incidents, closing the road for a short period of time while the safety of the drivers was assessed.  One of the drivers was treated at the scene by paramedics and Fire crews cleared the Renault Clio from the road (after tipping it back onto its wheels).

Shortly after this, recovery was arranged for the Vauxhall (which could not be moved off the road due to the damage to it) and once that had been completed, the road was reopened.

Many thanks to the members of the public, including a Cadet Leader and a Cadet, who assisted at the scene.
