Police appeal for witnesses following suspected abduction attempt in Hereford

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses or information from members of the public who may have been in the area of Old Eign Hill and Hampton Dene Road in Hereford on Friday 11 January 2019 at around 07:30am 08:00am.

It is reported that a female, in her late teens, was approached by a male who made attempts to lead her to a vehicle.

Detective Inspector Mark Peters of Hereford CID said: "Officers have spoken with the family and are making various enquiries concerning this incident.

If anyone was in the area at the time of the incident  or saw anyone acting suspicious in the Old Eign Hill and Hampton Dene Road area of Hereford please contact the police. We are particularly keen to get any dash cam footage from the area."
