UPDATED: Appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the Stourbridge Road in Kidderminster that occurred in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 12 February).

The incident occurred at around 12.15am and a 36-year-old man was transported to hospital with serious head injuries after a collision with a car. Sadly, he later died in hospital.

A black Mini Cooper registration ending HYX was driving along the Stourbridge Road in the direction of the Horsefair area when the collision occurred with the man. At the time of the incident the pedestrian was walking with a man on a pedal bike.

Investigating Officers are appealing for information from the public including dash cam footage.

PC Josh Upston said: "We are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the incident on the Stourbridge Road in the early hours of this morning so that we can get a better understanding of what has occurred.

"We are especially keen to see any dash cam footage from the area at the time of the incident. If you have any information please call 101."
