Rural Crime - IFOR Williams Trailer stolen from a farm in Worfield on the 1st of March 2019.

On the 1st of March 2019, an IFOR Williams Trailer was stolen from a farm in Worfield.

At just before 10:45am on the morning of Friday the 1st of March 2019, unidentified offenders struck at a farm in Worfield and stole an IFOR Williams TT85 Tipper trailer. The last three figures of the registration of the stolen trailer are SZR. A red or burgundy Landrover Discovery was being driven by the offenders, unfortunately the victims and witnesses were not able to get the registration details.

Two Police patrols were deployed into the surrounding area in an attempt to stop the offenders getting away, these efforts were unsuccessful.

As soon as it was reported to the Police checks were conducted through the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system cameras to check the last time the trailer activated a camera. However, it is likely that the genuine registration plate has been removed. Despite this, the details of the trailer have been added to the ANPR check list so that if it activates a camera, any nearby Officers can be contacted and deployed appropriately.
