A white Ford Transit van was seen in suspicious circumstances in the Birchlands, Bridgnorth, on Wednesday the 13th of March 2019.

Police are investigating a Ford Transit van observed in suspicious circumstances in Bridgnorth.

Van Security

On Wednesday the 13th of March 2019, at just before 10:30am, a white Ford Transit van, last three of the registration being GTU, was seen in the area of the Birchlands, Bridgnorth.  The occupants of this van were seen looking into another van in the area before driving off.

Checks were conducted with DVLA and on Police systems, these checks show that the tax on the vehicle expired in September 2018 and that there is no insurance for it.

The details of this vehicle have been added to the Automatic Number plate Recognition (ANPR) system so that if it activates an ANPR camera, nearby Police Officers can be informed and will take appropriate action.  If located, the vehicle will probably be seized by the Police as it is being driven without tax.  In addition, anybody with the van will have full checks conducted on them.

If you see this vehicle, or any other vehicle, behaving in a suspicious manner, please contact the Police on 101.  If you know that a crime is actually taking place, please ring 999.
