Appeal for witnesses following robbery - Malvern

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a robbery in Malvern in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 14 March).

At around 12.20am, a man in his 40s withdrew cash from an ATM at Morrisons, Roman Way, when three teenage males approached him.

The man was threatened and assaulted, before cash was stolen from him.

It's reported one of the offenders was holding a bladed object. It is not believed to have been used in the assault.

The victim sustained head injuries, but did not require hospital treatment.

A 15-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, both from Droitwich, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. They are currently in police custody.

A number of enquiries are ongoing and officers are searching for a third male, described as white, aged around 16-17, of a medium build, with dark hair, between 5'10" and 5'10". He was believed to be wearing a blue Nike air hooded top, grey Nike gloves, blue trousers and blue trainers.
