Did you know there are a number of active Neighbourhood Watch schemes already in place across the Telford and Newport areas ?

Neighbourhood Watch is not about patrolling your own streets or being 'a nosy neighbour'; it's about being an active citizen, working with friends and neighbours to make your locality an even safer place to live and work, supporting your local police by being additional pairs of eyes and ears, noting things that are out of the ordinary and passing that information on.

Anyone can join an existing group and, if there isn't one active in your street or area, you can even start your own, quickly and easily.

You can find out if there is a Neighbourhood Watch scheme already up and running near you by following this link entering your postcode in the relevant box  > http://www.westmercianw.org.uk/

If there is, follow the instructions given to easily apply to join the scheme.

If there is not, more information about how to start your own scheme and get your neighbours involved is available by following this link > http://www.westmercianw.org.uk/pages/4081/1/Join_here.html
