Did you witness an attempted robbery in Evesham?

Officers investigating an attempted robbery in Evesham are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

It happened at a property in Woodland Piece sometime between 4.30am and 6am on Wednesday 17 April.

Three suspects are understood to have attempted to take two motorbikes from a garage.

When the occupant of the house came outside to challenge them, the suspects were verbally abusive and threw what is thought to be a screwdriver at him.

The man followed the group but one of them is reported to have then threatened him with a hammer. The victim was uninjured but left shaken up by the incident. No property was taken.

The suspects are believed to have left in the direction of the adventure playground located near Woodlands.

Enquiries are currently ongoing but officers are keen to speak to the individuals pictured as they believe they may have information that could help with the investigation.

They would also like anyone who walks their dog in that area, who witnessed the incident, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously at the time to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 57S of 17 April.
