Man suffers stab wounds in attack in Shrewsbury

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s was stabbed in Shrewsbury.

UPDATE 10am 170519

Three people - two men aged 21 and 22 and a 15 year old boy - have been arrested in connection with the incident that happened on Monday (13 May) night.


It's believed the incident happened in Grey Friars Road around 11.45pm last night (Monday 13 May).

The man was attacked by three men as he parked his vehicle in the street. He later realised he had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Enquiries are on-going to trace the offenders and police are appealing for witnesses.

Detective Inspector Scott Harris said: "We're carrying out enquiries to trace those responsible and I would urge anyone who has information to come forward and speak to us."
