CORRECTED: Man charged with dangerous driving after van collides with three police cars in Droitwich

A man has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and possession of cannabis, after a van collided with three police cars when it failed to stop for officers in Droitwich.

Five police officers suffered minor injuries in the collision in Salwarp Road.

Officers from West Mercia Police attempted to stop the vehicle after they suspected it had been stolen from Coleshill on Friday (17 May).

Irfan Mohammed, 30, of Coleshill Road, Birmingham, is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Monday 20 May).
