Local police release CCTV images following burglary in Salwarpe, Droitwich

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following a burglary in The Rectory, Copcut Lane, Salwarpe in Droitwich.

At around 1.40pm on Saturday 18 May it is reported that an unknown man gained access to a property in Copcut Lane. He was disturbed and left the scene heading in the direction of Chawson Lane and Droitwich.

It's reported that the man was also seen walking his dog in the area around 20 minutes prior to the incident.

He is described as white, around 40-50 years, of a medium build and approximately 6ft tall. He has a shaved head and wore glasses with red rims. He was wearing a green jacket, camoflauge t-shirt, blue ¾ length jeans and brown walking boots.

Local PC Simon Rose said: "I'd like to speak to the man pictured as we believe he may have information that may help with our investigation. If anyone recognises the man or has any information about the burglary on 18 May please call 101 quoting 22/47268/19. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
