Man arrested on suspicion of Assault GBH, Hereford

Incident 52s of 9 June 2019

Police have arrested a 47 year old man from Hereford on suspicion of assault causing grievious bodily harm after police were called to an incident in Bridge Street, Hereford at 1.05hours in the early hours of Sunday 9 June 2019.

He was arrested in the early hours of 9 June and following questioning, was released on police bail pending further enquiries that evening.

Following the assault the same man who was assaulted is believed to have fallen down some stairs near Aubrey Street. He was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with serious head injuries. He is currently in an induced coma in a stable condition.
