Man seen falling from Worcester bridge

Police are appealing for witnesses after reports a man was seen falling from the Sabrina Bridge in Worcester.

The incident was reported to police at 12.52am today (Saturday 29 June).

Police, fire brigade and the police helicopter are carrying out a search of the river and surrounding area.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, saw anyone in a distressed state or saw anyone get out the river to contact them.

Anyone who can help to identify the man are also urged to contact police.

He is described as being in his mid teens and about five foot 10 inches tall.

At this time police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
