How to do business with the force

How to do business with Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police - A guide for suppliers

Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police spends approximately £50 million in the private sector each year, providing organisations of all sizes with a wide range of commercial opportunities.

A lack of information about opportunities and a lack of understanding of the Force's contracting procedures may be stopping some organisations from applying for Force contracts.

This guide aims to overcome these difficulties and explains how to apply for contracts that are advertised and what is expected of you when working for the Force.

We encourage competition and welcome bids from new and established suppliers. Contracts must be awarded on the basis of obtaining value for money for the taxpayer. Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police cannot discriminate in favour of local suppliers but they will be given every encouragement to compete for contracts.

There is of course a great deal of competition for Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police contracts and this guide cannot assure individual firms of success. However, it should provide enough information to give you the opportunity to be considered for Force contracts.
