Police investigating the death of a man in Shrewsbury are appealing for a key witness to get in contact.
Around 4.30pm yesterday (Thursday 21 September) emergency services were called to Pensfold, near to Pensfold shopping centre after a man was found unresponsive. A 43-year-old man was taken to hospital by paramedics, however, he sadly died.
His death is being treated as unexplained.
Officers are keen to speak to a member of the public who raised concern to another passer-by who had first aid experience.
Detective Inspector Richard Davies said: “We believe the member of the public who raised concern to the passer-by could be a key witness in our enquiries to establish what happened and the events leading up the man’s death. I would like to offer my assurances that we are treating this member of public as a key witness, and do not believe they were involved in his death.”
