FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 11724

I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 25th April 2019. Please find below the response to your request:

 

Whitchurch and Ganarew Group Parish Council

The Parish Council would appreciate information regarding the number of speed recordings of vehicles exceeding the 70mph speed limit on the A40 at Whitchurch area Herefordshire.

We would like this information for the past 6 months please.

The speed measurements are taken from a bridge near Ganarew a near post code would be NP25 3SS.

 

Response

REPLY:  For the time period specified to the end of April 2019, 543 vehicles were detected.  A number of these were for exceeding the class of vehicle speed limit i.e. 60 mph for a van.
