I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 13^th December 2021. Please find below the response to your request:

I want to know in your police area how many complaints of sexual offence were made in the last five years (01/01/2016 – 15/12/2021) where the injured person was under 18 and the occupation of the accused was recorded as tutor/teacher; and where you hold the information, specifically music tutor/teacher.

West Mercia Police holds part of the information you have requested.

There has been a Nil return on specifically music tutor/teacher however this may not have been recorded specifically as the occupation. Please see below a table retrieved from the searches where teacher has been recorded as the occupation.
