Which member of Senior West Mercia Staff is responsible for implementing, oversight and impact of policy areas. In particular who has responsibility for addressing each area identified by Her Majesty's Inspectorate as requiring improvement, particularly the focus on tackling "unconscious bias"
Clarification to Applicant:
What you mean by “policy areas”?
Answer:
Organisations addressing issues associated with 'unconscious bias' might allocate the activity to an HR/Training team for example, in which case the improvement policy in relation to this issue would, I think be managed by the person responsible for this team. However, addressing such a broad and serious issue might have led to a senior staff member responsible for Diversity and Inclusion to take the lead, or alternatively the Chief Constable himself...
