I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 8^th July 2021. Please find below the response to your request:

Which three fixed position speed cameras in your area were responsible for (i) the issuing of the most fixed penalty notices to suspected speeders and (ii) were activated the most time by speeding vehicles in the combined three year period of 2018, 2019 and 2020?

By this I mean which three cameras were the busiest across the entire three-year period rather than which three were busiest in each year. Hence the response should be just three camera sites and no more.

Please provide me with the position of each of the three cameras and the number of FPNs issued as a result of it “catching” suspected speeders in that three-year period as well as the number of activations logged at that site.

NOTE: Please include average speed cameras for this analysis where the cameras have remained in the same position.

The three fixed position cameras that detected the most offences were – 1. Wolverhampton Road Kidderminster, 2. A44 New Road Worcester and 3. A465 Belmont Road Hereford.
