I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 18^th June 2021. Please find below the response to your request:

The Police Superintendents’ Association (PSA) request that the following information is provided in relation to the Police Pension Scheme 1987. The PSA know that your force pension administrator is the XPS Pensions Group who use an Aquilia Heywood software product as the administration platform. The PSA understand that the software will be able to provide the information, which is sought relatively easily, so it is hoped that you will be able to assist with providing a response as quickly as possible.

The following information is sought:

1. The number of police officers in your force who are currently protected and unprotected.

2. The male/female gender breakdown just for those who have protection and will not have reached 30 years pensionable service before 1/4/2022.
