Please could you provide the average length of detention up to the point of release/charge, for children and adults separately, for the following two time periods:

1. From 1 September 2018 to 31 August 2019
2. From 1 March 2020 to 28 February 2021

Reply:-

From the 01/09/2018 – 31/08/2019 the average length of adult detention was 649 minutes

From the 01/09/2018 – 31/08/2019 the average length of child detention was 623 minutes

From the 01/03/2020 – 28/02/2021 the average length of adult detention was 659 minutes

From the 01/03/2020 – 28/02/2021 the average length of child detention was 621 minutes
