I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 21st May 2021. Please find below the response to your request:

 

Can I please request data showing the number of caravan drivers who have been given a traffic offence report for driving in the third lane of any motorways in your area.

 

Please can you provide this information for the last five years.

 

If it is not possible to distinguish whether or not the vehicle was a caravan, can I please have data showing the number of vehicles drawing a trailer who have been given a traffic offence report for the same reason.

 

 

 

Reply:-

 

11 tickets issued in last 5 years for vehicles drawing a trailer/caravan in the offside lane.

2 of those 11 are as a result of footage submitted as part of operation snap.
