I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 23^rd November 2021. Please find below the response to your request:

Please could I request the following information under a Freedom of Information Act Request:

• The date when you ended the IPDLP or similar training scheme for new recruits
• The date when you first started to recruit police officers to the PEQF entry routes
• The date of your first PCDA intake
• The date of your first DHEP or Detective DHEP intake
• Whether you have not yet recruited officers via any of the above stated PEQF routes
• Please could you identify what ethnicity labelled scheme you ask recruits to identify against and whether/when that changed

1. Please could you supply me with self-declared ethnicity data, including statistics for those who chose not to define themselves, for all police officer recruits from 2015 to current, also broken down to include whether male or female in each category?
2. Please could you split data according to the relevant entry route, i.e. IPDLP or similar?

1. Date of final IPLDP Cohort commencing in Force = 06/04/2020
2. Date of first PCDA Cohort = 27/01/2020
3. Date of first DHEP Cohort = 27/07/2020
4. Date of first DC-DHEP Cohort = 15/03/2021
5. Categories of ethnic origin included in application process to all PEQF entry routes = please see table below

6. Confirm whether the categorisation is the same as it was under IPLDP or different = is different, as per below table

7. If different, how so = different categories applied to some ethnic groups

8. Total number of applicants who applied to both IPLDP and PEQF entry routes from each ethnic category since 2015, broken down by programme, year and whether male / female. Include numbers who chose not to declare ethnicity = please see table below
