I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 30th September 2021. Please find below the response to your request:
Can you please tell me if, when the police take the RSPCA out with them, the police pay for the RSPCA's time and costs or if the RSPCA funds its attendance itself?
In the converse situation, if the RSPCA request police attendance, or ask the police to obtain a warrant or seize animals, who pays for police time and costs then?

West Mercia Police and the RSPCA work in partnership with each other, there is no transfer of costs to either party. Each party cover their own costs during any incidents where either parties are required to attend situations.
