I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 9th May 2022. Please find below the response to your request:
1) In the 2021 calendar year, how many crimes were logged by your force where
Deliveroo was recorded as being an element in the offence? [Note: I would hope that this could be achieved by a computer search on the MO of crimes for the word/s "deliveroo", "deliver roo".]
2) Please provide me with a table showing a breakdown of the crimes from Question 1 that are ‘linked’ to Deliveroo by its mention in the MO.
3) Taking a start date of January 2021 please provide me with copies of the first 10
MOs that mention Deliveroo.
[Note: To avoid falling into an exemption I am content for
the names, ages, geography or any other detail to be redacted to allow for the
disclosure of the incident and how it relates to Deliveroo.]

CR001 |
IP WAS HANDING OVER AN ORDER OF FOOD TO THE SUSPECT WHO IS A DELIVERY DRIVER FOR DELIVERROO. IP ASKED THE SUSPECT TO SIGN TO SAY HAD COLLECTED THE ORDER TO WHICH REFUSED TO SIGN AND ACCUSED THE IP OF BEING RACIST. AT THIS POINT THE IP TOLD SUSPECT THAT THEY WOULD TAKE THE FOOD ORDER BACK AND GET ANOTHER DRIVER TO PICK THE ORDER UP. THE SUSPECT THEN TRIED TO GRAB THE FOOD OFF THE IP AND DRAGGED IP OVER THE TABLE SO THE FOOD WENT EVERYWHERE.SUSPECT THEN TRIED TO THROW A PUNCH AT THE IP. |

Victim has left his moped underneath the market hall and didn't realise it had been stolen. The Bike has been found with a DELIVEROO bag next to it. |

Suspect, wearing Deliveroo uniform became irate when staff asked them to adhere to Covid protocols. Verbal abuse was directed towards them. This continued when refused service due to demeanour. Upon leaving, suspect turned and spat at the door outside. |

IP has approached the front counter to collect their Deliveroo order. In doing this has jumped the queue ahead of suspect. This caused a verbal argument between the two, resulting in suspect pushing IP. |

IP and suspect know each other through work as they both work for Deliveroo. Suspect has made IP feel uncomfortable at work by watching them. |

IP is a delivery driver for Deliveroo. At date time stated has been involved in a road rage incident with two suspects. Their vehicle has followed IP and engaged with them at traffic lights. Two suspects have got out of this motor vehicle, they have both called IP a "CUNT". One of them has said "GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY". |

IP in the car park with friends. Has walked off leaving their deliveroo bag and motorcycle helmet in the carpark. On return the items were missing. No one was seen in the area at the time of return. |

IP collected daughter in car. They drove from xxxx and turned left and as IP did so a cyclist came directly across the road and kicked the front offside wing of IP's vehicle with left foot, damaging it, and shouted FUCK OFF. Suspect was a Deliveroo Rider with blue Deliveroo bag. |

Victim is a Security Guard at the location, and was on duty at the time stated. Victim approached the Suspect, believed to be a delivery driver for 'Deliveroo', to request they move from being parked in a disabled parking space. The Suspect became irritated with this, called the Victim a "stupid bitch" before spitting at the Victim. The saliva hit the ground and the Victim's leg. |
