I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 24th May 2022. Please find below the response to your request:
Please could you provide me with the total number of
(a) prosecutions undertaken and
(b) penalties issued to motorists in the West Mercia force area for exceeding a 20 mph speed limit for calendar years of 2019 to 2021, and 2022 so far.
Please could you provide this information for the West Mercia force area as a whole, and also broken down into each local area that you cover.

West Mercia Police have issued 2 fixed penalty notices for Exceeding a 20mph speed limit in 2021 and both were in the Herefordshire Policing area.
