I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 12th October 2022. Please find below the response to your request:
How many employees of your organisation were registered as off-sick on Christmas day for the following years: 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017?

I can confirm that West Mercia do hold the information requested and the response is below.
Please note that the figures given are all as accurate as reporting will allow, however should be taken as an approximate. The figures include ALL employees, officers and staff, who had been recorded as SICK on the 25th of December each year. It may be possible that some of these were actually working from home but had been recorded incorrectly, unfortunately we are unable to ascertain how many.
We are unable to give the figure for 2022 as this is still in the future.
