I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 20th February 2023. Please find below the response to your request:
1) How many cases of alleged sexual or domestic abuse offences were registered against officers or members of staff since the beginning of 2021?
2) Noting that one officer could be accused of multiple offences, how many officers/members of staff were accused of domestic or sexual abuse offences since the beginning of 2021?
3) The total number of officers who are currently serving in your force.

Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 places two duties on public authorities. Unless exemptions apply, the first duty at section 1 (1) (a) is to confirm or deny whether the information specified in a request is held. The second duty at section 1(1) (b) is to disclose information that has been confirmed as being held.
In respect of the first duty at section 1 (1) (a) I can confirm that West Mercia Police does hold information in respect of your request;
1) How many cases of alleged sexual or domestic abuse offences were registered against officers or members of staff since the beginning of 2021?
2) Noting that one officer could be accused of multiple offences, how many officers/members of staff were accused of domestic or sexual abuse offences since the beginning of 2021?
3) The total number of officers who are currently serving in your force.
In respect of the second duty at section 1(1) (b) please see below;
