Assistant fleet Manager
Number of beat/Patrol vehicles currently in fleet
Number of traffic vehicles currently in fleet
Number of Cell Vans currently in fleet
Number of Camera Vans currently in fleet
The on road lifespan for each of the above types of vehicle

A partial exemption is applicable to the information requested for the name of the current fleet manager and assistant fleet manager is:
Section 40 (5) Personal information
This is an absolute exemption
Please be advised that any information released as a result of a Freedom of Information request, in effect, is being released into the public domain. Therefore, it could subsequently be published or would have to be made available to any member of the public if it were requested.
Any information that relates to an individual, or from which an individual could be identified, constitutes personal data and to release information that constitutes personal data into the public domain contravenes the Data Protection Act 2018. The information that you have requested pertains to personal data of a third party and therefore it is exempt from disclosure, the exemption that applies to this type of information is Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
In accordance with the Act, this letter represents a partial Refusal Notice for this particular request.

Number of beat/Patrol vehicles currently in fleet - 438
Number of traffic vehicles currently in fleet - 45
Number of Cell Vans currently in fleet - 81
Number of Camera Vans currently in fleet - 26
The on road lifespan for each of the above types of vehicle is as follows:
- Patrol Vehicles – 5 years or 120,000 miles (whichever is reached first) this is for cars or vans
- Traffic (OPU RPU) Vehicles – 3 years or 150,000 miles (whichever is reached first) for cars or 5 years or 50,000 miles (whichever is reach first) for motorbikes
- Camera Vans – 10 years or 100,000 miles (whichever is reached first)
