- The number of antisocial incidents reported in libraries across North Shropshire in the past 5 years.
- A breakdown of the number of serious incidents.
- A breakdown of the offenders’ ages.

Caveats:
The incident details have been checked to filter out false negatives and it is noted if the incident had happened outside on the library premises (ie. bottles thrown at the library wall; people on the library roof).
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) refers to an activity or behaviour that does not necessarily constitute a criminal offence (and recordable crime). As such, ASB is termed ‘non-crime recordable’. An incident of ASB will be recorded on the police incident reporting system. If the offender’s behaviour crosses the line from being a nuisance/annoying anti-social behaviour to behaviour which constitutes a crime, then the relevant offence will be recorded on the police recording system (eg Public Order offences, Criminal Damage offences) and will have a recorded outcome. It is only when an incident becomes an offence/crime, will the details of the involved parties (eg suspect/victim) be recorded. Therefore, we are unable to provide the ages of the offenders involved in the ASB incidents as that detail is not recorded in the incident reporting system. Please also note that the incident reporting system does not classify incidents into levels of seriousness.
