I would like to know how many people have been written up due to dangerous driving and what the outcome was; how many people were successfully prosecuted and how many weren’t.
I would like the information for the following years:
- 2019
- 2020
- 2021
- 2022
- 2023 (as up-to-date as you’re able to provide)

***As the request is for the number of people successfully prosecuted the figures are based on the most serious disposal. Therefore, the figures included are based upon the following example; if there are 3 offences for 1 defendant, 2 are charged & 1 is NFA’d, it has been counted as 1 charge. The same has been done for the court results, if there are 3 charges for 1 defendant, 1 has the result not proceeded with & 2 have the result imprisonment, this has been counted as 1 conviction.
