Caveat: Searches were undertaken for two primary offence groups – “Sexual Offences” and “Violence against the Person”, as per the request sexual and verbal homophobic attacks or assaults have to be included.
There are occasions where behaviour may be classed as motivated by hate but may not meet the Home Office Classification of a criminal offence. Under Home Office guidance in such circumstances a Hate Incident can be recorded. Please note that results include only hate crimes and non-crimes have not been included as requested.
