The average time (in hours:minutes:second) it takes for police to arrive on the scene of 'theft of a motor vehicle' incidents in your force for the following calendar years: 2023, 2022 and 2021.

West Mercia Police partially holds the requested information to your request the average time (in hours:minutes:second) it takes for police to arrive on the scene of 'theft of a motor vehicle' incidents in your force for the following calendar years: 2023, 2022 and 2021.
Due to system configuration issues, we are only able to provide data for one full financial year (2022-23). Data is not available between Jan 2021 and March 2022, and we are unable to provide data in calendar years.

For further information, West Mercia Police contact handlers use a risk assessment tool called THRIVE (Threat, harm, risk, investigation, vulnerability, engagement) in order to determine what the most appropriate response to an incident is, following a THRIVE assessment the Contact Handler will decide which grade the incident requires, our grades are determined as follows:
National Contact Management Strategy (NCMS) advises against specific response time targets and West Mercia Police have complied with that directive.
