Caveats:
The results in the table above relate to domestic crimes only. There are occasions were police attend a domestic incident and the circumstances do not match that of a criminal offence. In such circumstances a domestic incident is recorded.
There can be more than one victim or suspect linked to one crime who may be of differing ages. Included in these results are crimes if at least one of the suspects was aged 17 or under and one the victims was aged 18 or over.
Please provide an age breakdown of these juveniles who were investigated and a breakdown by gender.

Caveats:
The results in the table above relate to the person’s age at the time the offending started. If the offences occurred over a long period of time the age of the parties will have change during the course of event, this field used to search calculates the parties age at the start of the alleged offence.
The data has been sorted by unique persons reference and age at the time of the incident. The results include each suspect once regardless of how many crimes they have been linked to, as a person can be a suspect on more than one crime during the year. Therefore, the numbers of suspects do not match the number of offences.
How many juveniles were (i) cautioned and (ii) charged with domestic abuse in the last calendar year 2023? Please provide a table showing the numbers charged for each type of specific offence.

Caveat:
Please note, each crime can only have one outcome assigned. If there are multiple suspects linked the highest outcome is linked to the investigation. Where a crime has multiple suspects, of differing ages, where the adult was charged (Outcome 1) and the child was cautioned the outcome of the investigation will show as Type 1. Therefore, the shown outcome is not necessarily the outcome taken against the juvenile suspect.
