The below table indicates the number of offences relating to defective tyres, where the driver was issued a fixed penalty of £100 and 3 penalty points.

The below table indicates the number of offences relating to defective tyres, where the matter was dealt with a court. Fines issued at court are imposed within the Magistrates guidance and are based on the defendants means, so will vary.
