I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 22^nd March 2024.  Please find below the response to your request:

Please could you provide me the following:

1. from Jan 2017 until Dec 2023 the total number of officers who retired via ill health retirement
2. Of the officers in part 1 above how many were granted an Injury on duty award
3. Of the officers in part 2 (who were granted an Injury on duty award) above what was the banding’s for each officer

From 1^st January 2017 through to 31^st December 2023  the following recorded medical retirements:

There were 52 Injury On Duties between 1^st January  2017 and 31 December 2023. None have received any payment above the banding for the officer.
