In relation to questions 3 and 4. All reports made to police which meet the definition of a crime in line with the Home Office Crime Recording Standards are recorded and an investigation will take place. Therefore, the number of reports made, and the number of investigations completed are the same.
Below are the numbers of fraud offences, and also the total number of all offences recorded to enable you to calculate the percentages as required.
