I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 22nd November 2024. Please find below the response to your request:
1) Please could you provide statistical data for arrests under sections 12 and 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 between January 2017 - July 2024 (inclusive).
2) Furthermore, please could you provide statistical data for arrests under (i) s.78 Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022; and (ii) the Public Order Act 2023. Please could you provide this statistical arrest data for the period June 2022 – July 2024 (inclusive).
For every arrest reported, please specify the age grouping of the persons arrested, the gender of the persons arrested, and the ethnicity of the persons arrested.

Nil return - no arrests were made under these offences between January 2017 - July 2024.
2) Furthermore, please could you provide statistical data for arrests under (i) s.78 Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022; and (ii) the Public Order Act 2023. Please could you provide this statistical arrest data for the period June 2022 – July 2024 (inclusive).
