Caveat:
We cannot limit the town centre as a crime location into our system, therefore data has been provided for the crime location by postcode starting with SY1 for Shrewsbury Town Centre. Please note, this will include the city centre and possibly the surrounding area.
(2) in Shrewsbury Council area, involving a female victim of street harassment (regardless whether involving sexual harassment or not); again, multiple victims count separately.

Caveat:
We are unable to separate the crime locations by council area in our crime system, therefore data has been provided for postcodes starting with SY for the Shrewsbury Council area. As some harassment offences have taken place in multiple locations (for eg street-home) we cannot differentiate between street harassment and other type of harassment, therefore have provided the total number of harassment offences.
To find the number of female victims the data has been sorted by unique person and unique crime reference, as some crimes can have multiple victims and a person can be a victim to multiple crime offences. Therefore, if a person has been linked to 5 unique crimes as a victim/associated victim, they will be counted 5 times, ones for every crime they are linked to, into the final issue table.
