I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 27th September 2024. Please find below the response to your request:
In 'Tasered', a report published by Keele University in October 2023, it states that a small number of your officers are 'high frequency' users of force (p17). Table 15 on page 175 of the report reveals that one officer used force 479 times (the period was January 2018 to December 2021 - page 15) :
Please provide the number of times force was used by each of the five officers who used it the most between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023.
