FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 447377
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 12th December 2025. Please find below the response to your request:
IPP as in Initial Pursuit training, like do you have advanced vehicles driven by advanced response officers.
I meant for the teams,
Can I have the team names that you guys have, for example
Met Police - Emergency Response & Policing Team, Safer Neighbourhood Team
Thames Valley Police - Incident Crime Response, Neighbourhood Policing Team.
As each force has different terms.
I would like it to cover:
Response
Neighbourhoods
Firearms
Dogs
Traffic
1. How many stations have response teams?
2. Can I get the official team names for Response, Neighbourhood, Dogs, Traffic, Firearms.
The reason for this for example is in some forces the Neighbourhood is SNT, NPT, NHT, NST and Response can be Intervention, Emergency Response, Patrol.. the official names your force use.
A example of this is:
Emergency Response Team - London Central
Emergency Response Team - London South
Neighbourhood Policing Team - London Central
(This may be seen as a exemption but, for information, multiple forces have provided that information for example Wiltshire)
3. Does your force utalize area cars? This is "advanced" cars driven by IPP officers.
4. Can I get a list of the stations avaliable AND the area they belong to... i.e.
London Central Station - London Central
London Rural Station - London South.
