Caveat: Fraud offences are managed by the national Action Fraud Agency who give intelligence to local police forces either due to an offence occurring within their area or due to a victim living in their area requiring support.
These matters are not recorded as crimes on our systems. A search was carried out specifically looking for non crime investigations which have the action fraud offence title and Only Fans in the incident summary, this has returned as 0.
On searching records on theft and have returned 3 which relate to blackmail which could fall within “financial crime”. There are no markers to denote if subscription fraud, identity theft or chargeback fraud was involved.
There is no separate field for the amount of money taken to be listed, it can be included within the incident summary but is not mandatory. From reading the incident summaries it does not appear that any victims have suffered financial loss.

Caveat: Question 2 –Requests for information about coercive and controlling offences, asking them to be split into modern slavery, stalking, harassment etc. Modern slavery investigations are not recorded as crimes and coercive & controlling behaviour is a sub sub group within the sub group of Stalking & Harassment.
Question 3 –Requests details regarding underage content & exploitation. Whilst there are some specific offences regarding offences against children for example grooming, there are other offences which are not age specific which would then have a markers such as child sexual exploitation or child sexual abuse markers linked to them.
Due to the conflicting nature of the questions 2 & 3 a search for all crimes and relevant non crimes which include the word “only fans” within the incident summary has been carried out. Where the matter is recorded as a crime and should have a linked a victim and outcome further tables showing the victim demographics and the outcomes are below. The bottom table shows the number of these crimes which also have a child at risk marker linked, none had a child sexual exploitation or child sexual abuse marker linked.

We are unable to report on how many cases resulted in safeguarding referrals were completed as this is not recorded in a retrievable format on our crime management system.
In regards to the remaining unanswered questions such as “threats against only fan creators”, “ the number of cases involving parental coercion”, “the number of cases involving 3rd party coercion”. There are no specific markers for these themes/elements. West Mercia Police are therefore unable to provide data on this.
