I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 26^th February 2025. Please find below the response to your request:

Please provide the number of warranted FTE officers at each rank. I need the numbers for each rank from Constable (including student officers) through to Chief Constable.

I would expect the number to include those acting up, so I have data about the roles. That is to say, if a Constable is acting up in the role of Sergeant, I would expect them to be counted as a Sergeant.

I need to know the make up of the force.

I appreciate that numbers are dynamic and you will be providing a snapshot at a specific point in time.
