I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 13th January 2025. Please find below the response to your request:
I would like to receive copies of:
- Guidance issued - internally and/or externally - for police as a result of the Police,
- Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Public Order Act 2023.
- Consultation responses or feedback, including via letter, emails or briefings, provided
- to the government regarding the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Public Order Act 2023

However:
“West Mercia Police deliver the prescribed courses as detailed in the Police Constable Entry Routes (PCER) under licence from the College of Policing. This includes the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP), Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP) and those joining having completed the Professional Policing Degree (PPD). Each of these courses have been approved and validated by the College of Policing for delivery in force and has such, we teach the National Curriculum updated and maintained by them.”
