Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting the following information for the last five calendar years (2019–2024):
- The total number of police officers (including constables and senior ranks) who were suspended from duty.
- The average duration of suspension in months.
- The number of suspensions that lasted:
Under 6 months
6–12 months
Over 12 months
Over 24 months
- Of the above suspensions, how many resulted in:
Misconduct charges being proven
Officers being cleared/no further action
Officers resigning while suspended
- The number of officers who died by suicide while suspended, if recorded.
- Whether the force provides psychological support to officers during suspension (Yes/No).

1.The total number of police officers (including constables and senior ranks) who were suspended from duty.
- in total, 17 are currently suspended.
2.The average duration of suspension in months.
11.8 months
Does not include those still on suspension as their suspension time has not ended.

As above only includes those where suspension has ended.
