FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 392367
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 3rd March 2025. Please find below the response to your request:
Are you able to provide the figures for January 2025?
Please can you provide information regarding the number of thefts of cables from election vehicle charging points.

West Mercia Police holds this information. Please see below:-
Caveat: To establish this figure for you, we have looked for all offences of Burglary, Theft and Sub- group thefts from a vehicle with a search of the words “charging cable”. As this search is based on a keyword match from free text, we have then manually reviewed each incident summary to identify the type of charging cable stolen. We have discounted all phone and laptop cables.
