Please could you tell me, per year, the number of bank robberies recorded in your jurisdiction.
Please provide this data going back as far as possible – ideally to 2000, but if the constraints of the act limit the time this will take, please provide as many years, working backwards from 2026, as possible.

Under Management of Policing Information Guidance data can be deleted off our systems after 6 years. We are therefore unable to confirm the accuracy or completeness of any information recorded prior to this date. Therefore the search undertaken is based on information which covers the last six years, specifically from 01/01/2020.
The system was searched from 1st January 2020 to 28th February 2026 where the Primary offence sub group is Robbery of Business Property and the location premises name contains bank or building society (in all variations of case) or, where the location/premises type is bank/building society.
