1) Hot debriefs after live, tabletop and paper feed exercises.

2) Follow up debriefs via email and QR code request.

How any changes to policies and procedures are implemented as a result of this feedback.

Implementation is guided in a multi-agency path through the Joint Operating Learning process. For in house implementation, West Mercia have an Operational Learning system which considers reports completed following exercises and recommends changes to policy and procedure.

The aims and objectives are determined based upon the exercise. We have made a significant push focusing upon the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme (JESIP) Principles and our core Policing duties since the second volume of the Manchester Arena Inquiry was released.

These are communicated to parties initially during the planning process when a request is sent for the exercise to be resourced, and then by the use of an exercise booklet and subsequently during briefings to involved parties.
