FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 437744
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 16th October 2025. Please find below the response to your request:
I would like to know the volume of speeding fines on the Kidderminser Road in Droitwich from The Big Bear Island to the Aldi island from 1st to 15th October and from 15th to 31st September. I believe that the presence of huge flags on every single lamppost put up from the start of October has significantly increased the volume of fines on this stretch of road due to the presence of the hugely distracting flags. I believe that road safety are rather than dealing with the problem causing the heavy increase in fine just using it to their advantage to increase the levels of fines. If the data proves that I am right I would like the matter to be escalated to tlad safety West Midlands to be held accountable for ignoring this road safety breach when pointed out by a member of the public.
