Of the two Entry and Search with Warrant Authorised under PACE Section 8 in June 2025
Question 1. How many of these two Entry and Search with Warrant under PACE Section 8 in June 2025 required Reasonable and proportionate force to be used to enter premises ?
Question 2. How many of these two Entry and Search with Warrant under PACE Section 8 in June 2025 were carried out by West Mercia police Force constables on behalf of/ at the request of other Police forces (hypothetical example for clarification, A Herefordshire home owner is under arrest for an indictable offence in a Kent Police Station and a West Mercia DC caries out Entry and Search at the Herefordshire Home)?

Question 1. How many of these two Entry and Search with Warrant under PACE Section 8 in June 2025 required Reasonable and proportionate force to be used to enter premises ?
No force was used to enter the premises. Entry was gained by the occupants answering the door with no resistance given.
Question 2. How many of these two Entry and Search with Warrant under PACE Section 8 in June 2025 were carried out by West Mercia police Force constables on behalf of/ at the request of other Police forces (hypothetical example for clarification, A Herefordshire home owner is under arrest for an indictable offence in a Kent Police Station and a West Mercia DC caries out Entry and Search at the Herefordshire Home)?
Both of these Warrants were West Mercia Police warrants and not executed on behalf of any other Force. The hypothetical example would require a Section 18 PACE search and not a Warrant.
